Make a meaningful impact supporting students as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist for a dynamic school district in the Baytown/Pasadena area. You’ll be instrumental in helping children succeed in their academic and social environments. This contract opportunity runs through May 2027, offering stability and the chance to foster professional relationships across multiple educational sites.

Your expertise will help shape comprehensive speech and language services for a caseload of 60 students. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to develop engaging therapy plans, deliver direct interventions, and conduct assessments. The role involves working across more than one school location, adding diversity and variety to your daily routine. The hiring process includes an interview with the district’s Coordinator of Evaluations.

Key skills and requirements for this position include:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Texas SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• School-based SLP experience preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Comfort working in-person, onsite, and adapting to multiple settings as needed
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
• Providing direct, evidence-based intervention
• Collaborating with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Traveling between school locations as necessary
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
