Automotive DMV Title Clerk# Automotive DMV Title ClerkRock Ridge Nissan Infiniti - Denville, NJ 07834## OverviewSalary Range$23.00 - $25.00 Hourly## DescriptionAs a DMV Title Clerk at Rock Ridge Nissan Infiniti, part of the Generation Auto Group, you play a critical role in ensuring all vehicle title and registration transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission requirements. In this role, you will support the dealership’s daily operations by managing title paperwork, maintaining organized records, and helping ensure a smooth and efficient deal flow from sale to registration.**What You'll Do:** The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to:Title & Registration Processing • Process all vehicle titles, registrations, and lien recordings in accordance with New Jersey MVC requirements • Prepare and submit title work accurately and in a timely manner • Review deal paperwork for completeness prior to submission • Handle in-state and out-of-state title transactionsCompliance & Accuracy • Ensure all documentation meets state and federal requirements • Maintain compliance with dealership policies and MVC regulations • Verify legal transfer of ownership and proper completion of all documentsTracking & Follow-Up • Monitor and track all pending title work, plates, and registrations • Follow up on outstanding titles, lien releases, and delayed transactions • Maintain organized logs and filing systems for all title documentsCommunication & Coordination • Work closely with the accounting office, sales team, and finance department • Communicate with banks, customers, and third-party agencies to resolve title issues • Support timely deal funding by ensuring title accuracy and completion**What We're Looking For:** • 1–3+ years of experience as a Title Clerk, DMV Clerk, or in an automotive office preferred • Strong understanding of New Jersey MVC title and registration processes • Experience handling out-of-state deals is a plus • High attention to detail and accuracy • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in dealership systems (Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.) preferred • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented**What We’ll Give You:** • Paid Time Off • Medical Insurance • Dental Insurance • Vision Insurance • Voluntary Life, Accident & Critical Illness Insurance • 401(k) with Employer Contribution • Paid Holidays • Employee Purchase Program • Perks & Discount Program • Monthly Employee Celebrations**Who We Are:** Generation Auto Group is a family-owned and operated dealership group proudly serving our communities for over 30 years.
