PRN Registered Nurse PreOp PostOpRoseville Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.Job Summary:The Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN PreOp PostOp supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN PreOp PostOp reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.Monday-Friday work schedule. Some Saturday work hours depending on center needsNO call required, NO NightsPay Range: $50.00 - $72.00 / hour, depending on experience.Required Skills:EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCEGraduate of an accredited school of nursingCurrent CA Nursing LicenseCurrent BLS, ACLS and PALS2+ years nursing experience in Pre-Op PACU. Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patientUnderstand principles of aseptic technique and their implementationAbility to care for patients from infancy to geriatricsKnowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errorsAbility to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when neededExcellent teaching skillsExcellent communication and organizational skillsDemonstrate strong professional and ethical behaviorAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees.
