About the Position

Job Title: Wound Care RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Wound & Ostomy Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Sunday through Saturday) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS and WOC certified required Must-Have: Must have experience as a WOC nurse Description: This position involves working as part of a wound and ostomy care team. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with wound vacs and ostomies. Experience in wound care management is essential for this role. The nurse will not be required to handle titratable drips. There are no charge nurse or house supervisor responsibilities associated with this role. Floating to different units within the hospital will be required as part of the position. Flexible scheduling is available, but weekend and holiday work will be part of the schedule. The nurse will be expected to wear royal blue and white scrubs. A one-week department-specific orientation will be provided. The charting system used is EPIC.
