Beyond filling individual requisitions, this role builds an ongoing, consultative relationship with hiring managers, anticipating pipeline needs, coaching on hiring practices, and bringing a strategic voice to workforce planning. This will be achieved through employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.Essential FunctionsDevelop effective recruiting plans and strategies by studying organization plans and objectivesEfficiently and effectively fill open positions; meeting with and proactively working with managers to discuss needsServe as a talent partner to assigned hiring managers, meeting on a regular, recurring cadence to build a forward-looking view of upcoming hiring needs and pipeline demand across the regionNetwork through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employeesMaintain effective relationships with social and professional networks to source qualified candidatesResponsible for creating and updating job descriptions, attract applicants by placing job advertisements, screen resumes and candidates, conduct interviews and assist managers with the complete hiring processConduct Culture Index job analysis (C-Job) for open and evolving roles, and interpret survey results with hiring managers to support hiring decisions, in partnership with the Director, Talent Strategy & AnalyticsWork with Temporary/Staffing agencies as well as contract recruitersConduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementationCoach hiring managers on structured interviewing best practices to improve interview quality, consistency, and decision speedBuild applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sitesDevelop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of needAttend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition; coordinate and implement college recruiting initiativesManage Applicant Tracking system to ensure complianceAssist with the compilation and maintenance of the Affirmative Action ProgramAssists with the coordination between recruiting, onboarding and trainingContribute to continuous improvement of Hiring Hub content, keeping manager-facing resources current, accurate, and usefulAssists with other projects within HR Department as neededMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree Preferred – Business, Communication, Sales, Marketing or other relevant fieldMinimum 3-5 Years of Experience in RecruitingExperience in relevant social media platforms (ex: LinkedIn) requiredExcellent verbal communication skillsAttention to detail of vital importanceProven candidate sourcing skillsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExcellent computer skills; must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programsExperience with Jobvite ATS preferredEffective oral and written communication skillsGeneral knowledge of various employment laws and practicesSelf-directed and motivated; requiring minimal supervisionPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
