Job Title: Principal, Network and Telecom Job Code: 40449 Job Location: Canoga Park, CA (preferred), Huntsville, AL Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off Job Description This role will provide Network Engineering and Teleconferencing Support in an accredited classified computing environment supporting multiple Department of Defense (DOD) programs and support a classified accredited eWAN. The position will require one to support build and maintain an Authorization to Operate with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). Essential Functions Requires an in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN communications, network hardware such as Cisco routers, Ethernet switches, bridges, gateways, firewalls, load balancing / NetScaler and encryption devices (i.e., TACLANEs). Palo Alto Firewall configuration experience Demonstrates a strong understanding and practical experience with technologies such as MPLS, VPLS, VPNs, and traffic engineering. NOC/SOC experience Visio experience Enterprise Architecture Experience Must be able to document and communicate well, train junior staff members, and build strong relationships Travel up to 30% Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience. Active US Secret Security clearance Preferred Additional Skills Security+, CCNA and/or relevant industry certifications Network cabling eWAN experience SCAP/STIG Experience Windows Domain Experience Linux familiarity Virtualization experience Data Center experience Multi-Factor Authentication support and integration experience Salary and Benefits In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the State of California is $133,000 - $247,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
