Pay: $24-$26/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

As the Accounts Payable Specialist , you'll help keep daily financial activity accurate, organized, and on schedule. You'll work with the Finance & Accounting team to process payments, maintain financial records, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies while handling sensitive financial information with care.

What You'll Do:
As a Payment Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Review and enter invoices, garnishments, commissions, and other accounts payable activity.
• Process ACH, wire, tax, and additional payment transactions accurately and efficiently within deadlines.
• Reconcile bank and credit card transactions while correcting discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate payment records, tracking reports, and supporting financial documentation.
• Monitor tax reports, payment changes, and other exceptions.
• Assist with audits, year-end activities, reporting, and other Finance & Accounting projects.

What You'll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional college level education in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.
• 3+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately handle financial information and identify discrepancies.
• Experience with accounting software, banking platforms, Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Dependable and professional with sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to pass a criminal background check.

Location & Schedule:
This position is fully onsite in the Beachwood Ohio area, and offers a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.
