Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to connect with clients through an outpatient office model. While you will work independently, you will have the benefit of being part of a supportive team that fosters collaboration among various mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic care for each individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations during initial sessions to develop personalized treatment plans that meet clients' specific needs.
• Provide a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), effectively addressing mental health challenges faced by clients.
• Maintain client-centric focus by scheduling flexible appointments, facilitating therapy that fits into clients' lives.
• Utilize technology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems to track client progress, document session details, and ensure consistency in care.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care strategies, integrating insights and strategies shared within the team.
• Commit to continuous professional development by attending workshops and staying abreast of the latest advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse clientele, which includes individuals seeking assistance with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. Your ability to build rapport and understand the unique circumstances of each client will be essential to fostering therapeutic relationships that promote healing and growth.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New York State.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in providing counseling services, with a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations surrounding counseling practices.
• Proficient in various therapeutic modalities and approaches, with the capability to adapt methods based on client needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in trauma-informed care, family therapy, or substance abuse counseling.
• Experience working within a virtual counseling framework, familiar with the challenges and opportunities technology presents in therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to facilitate organized and efficient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

Inner Hopeful Mind Counseling Solutions offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with your caseload and expertise. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
