Analyze and risk-rate complex commercial, agricultural, SBA, and other credit relationships, ensuring recommendations align with lending policy, regulatory expectations, and the bank’s risk tolerance. Evaluate borrower and guarantor financial strength by reviewing financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, cash flow, projections, trends, and key financial ratios; summarize findings in clear credit presentations. Conduct annual loan reviews, monitor covenant compliance, identify credit weaknesses or policy exceptions, and recommend actions to strengthen the bank’s position and reduce risk exposure. Partner with lenders, credit leadership, and loan committees to address documentation issues, credit exceptions, underwriting concerns, and complex loan decisions through clear, well-supported recommendations.
