About the Facility: Naval Base Bangor Naval Base Bangor, located near Silverdale, WA, is a vital military installation that plays a crucial role in the U.S. Navy's operations. Facility Address: 1035 Trident Boulevard, Silverdale, WA 98315 LPN - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to) The LPN initiates, performs, and completes assigned duties to provide care to a diverse patient population. Assess patient conditions and use professional judgment to determine the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments. Observe, identify, and respond to patient care needs, including medication administration, equipment-assisted care, and patient/family education. The LPN administers prescribed medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and/or intravenous) and perform treatments as per established policies/procedures. Recognize urgent or emergent patient care situations and collaborate with the RN and/or MD/DO to initiate appropriate emergency interventions as directed. Assist in preparing patients for complex diagnostic tests, specialized practices, or procedures. The LPN prepares and handles specialized instruments or equipment. LPN - REQUIREMENTS Education: Certificate, Degree, or completion of vocational nursing program or graduate from an accredited college or university. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience Certification: Current BLS certification from American Heart Association. License: Active LPN license from any state.
