Responsibilities
- Unpack, identify, and label laboratory specimens accurately
- Route specimens to appropriate staging areas and testing facilities
- Perform data entry of patient information timely and accurately
- Identify and document problem specimens for resolution
- Meet department production goals in high-throughput environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable handling biological specimens safely
- Ability to accurately identify and label specimens
- Strong data entry and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Capacity to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
- Pass standardized colorblindness test
