• *Position Type** : Six-month contract, opportunity for extension or full time offer
• *Schedule** : Monday through Friday - 4 (10-hour shifts)
• *Pay** : $27 to $28 per hour, based on experience

**Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant** :

• Complete **pediatric patient rooming** , including height/weight measurements, vitals, and developmental considerations.
• Administer **immunizations** following pediatric immunization schedules and clinical protocols.
• Perform **CLIA‑waived point-of-care testing** (e.g., strep, flu, urinalysis, glucose, etc.).
• Conduct **basic instrument processing** , including cleaning and preparing instruments for sterilization.
• Assist providers with pediatric procedures and clinical workflows.
• Manage **Inbasket** messages, including results routing, patient callbacks, and provider support tasks.
• Handle **paperwork** such as school forms, vaccine records, referrals, and other patient documents.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

**Qualifications** **of the Medical Assistant** :

· High school graduate or GED equivalent

• Active **MA-C** certification.
• **Experience in Pediatrics or Family Medicine** strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated reliability, teamwork, and professionalism.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and providers.

**Pay Details:** $27.00 to $28.00 per hour
