Technical Program Manager, Fleet Reliability ( Eastern Region)

The Senior Program Manager, Fleet Reliability – Eastern Region is responsible for leading strategic reliability initiatives across ERock’s operating fleet. This role will drive cross-functional programs focused on improving asset availability, reducing recurring failures, increasing maintenance effectiveness, and enhancing overall fleet performance. The position serves as the bridge between Operations & Maintenance, Engineering, Asset Management, Safety, Training, and Field Operations to ensure reliability improvements are identified, prioritized, and successfully executed. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in program management, fleet reliability, asset management, maintenance excellence, or operational improvement within power generation, utilities, industrial operations, manufacturing, transportation fleets, or other asset‑intensive environments. Key Responsibilities Fleet Reliability & Program Leadership Lead strategic reliability improvement initiatives across the Eastern Region fleet. Develop and manage program plans, schedules, milestones, risk registers, action logs, and status reporting. Drive initiatives focused on improving uptime, asset availability, and overall fleet performance. Identify recurring equipment failures, operational risks, and reliability trends and develop corrective action plans. Partner with leadership to prioritize reliability initiatives based on operational impact, customer risk, and business objectives. Establish measurable reliability targets and monitor progress against key performance indicators. Project & Program Management Manage multiple reliability-focused programs and projects simultaneously from initiation through completion. Coordinate resources, stakeholders, schedules, and deliverables across multiple functional groups. Facilitate recurring project reviews, drive accountability, and ensure timely execution of action items. Escalate risks, barriers, and resource constraints while driving resolution. Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and with measurable business outcomes. Document lessons learned and implement sustainable solutions across the fleet. Analyze maintenance records, work order history, failure trends, outage events, and fleet performance data. Support root cause analysis efforts and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented. Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting to track reliability performance. Identify opportunities to optimize preventive maintenance programs and improve maintenance execution. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Operations & Maintenance, Engineering, Asset Management, Safety, Training, NOC, and Supply Chain teams. Support implementation of engineering changes, reliability campaigns, and field improvement initiatives. Coordinate field execution plans and ensure alignment with operational priorities. Communicate program status, business impacts, risks, and recommendations to leadership. Foster a culture of accountability, reliability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, reliability engineering, asset management, operations, maintenance, or a related technical environment. Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated experience improving fleet reliability, asset performance, maintenance effectiveness, or operational excellence. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and translate findings into actionable improvement plans. Experience building project schedules, tracking deliverables, managing risks, and reporting project status. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to influence teams and drive execution without direct authority. Ability to travel as needed throughout the Eastern Region. Preferred Qualifications PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), Scrum, or similar certification. Experience supporting power generation, distributed energy, utilities, electrical infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, transportation fleets, or other asset‑intensive operations. Experience with preventive maintenance programs, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), root cause analysis (RCA), failure mode analysis, and asset lifecycle management. Experience utilizing CMMS platforms, Power BI, FieldPoint, or other operational reporting tools. Familiarity with electrical safety programs, field operations, and technician‑led work environments. Successful completion of reliability programs and projects on schedule. Increased effectiveness of preventive maintenance and corrective action programs. Improved visibility, accountability, and execution cadence across reliability initiatives. Strong partnership and alignment across Operations, Engineering, and Asset Management teams.
