Senior Cost Analyst

Compensation: $85,000 Location: Orlando, FL Must be based in or within commuting distance of the Greater Orlando area. What This Position Offers Ownership of project setup, billing, cost tracking, and funding activities Hands-on work within Deltek Costpoint Exposure to CPFF, T&M, and FFP contracts Direct collaboration with Project Managers, Operations, Contracts, and Finance Responsibility for analyzing billing variances, unbilled receivables, and contract funding Participation in DCAA-related reporting and Incurred Cost Submissions Comprehensive benefits including 401(k) match, healthcare, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and paid holidays Key Responsibilities of the Senior Cost Analyst Manage project setup, billing configurations, and ongoing project maintenance within Deltek Costpoint Review contract modifications and update funding ceilings, periods of performance, and contract structures Build and maintain project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) Establish project and task codes to support accurate labor capture and timesheet reporting Prepare and review billing activity for CPFF, T&M, and FFP contracts Analyze project costs, funding levels, billing variances, and unbilled receivables Research and resolve project accounting and contract funding discrepancies Prepare and submit government invoices through WAWF/PIEE Assist with annual DCAA Incurred Cost Submissions and indirect rate support Maintain accurate project financial records and supporting documentation Work with Operations, Project Management, Contracts, and Finance to resolve project-related financial issues Use Excel to reconcile data and support project and cost analysis Qualifications For The Senior Cost Analyst 5+ years of project accounting, cost analysis, project billing, or contract administration experience within government contracting Hands-on Deltek Costpoint experience required, particularly within Project and Billing functionality Experience with CPFF, T&M, and FFP contracts Experience with government invoicing through WAWF/PIEE Knowledge of government contracting requirements, including exposure to FAR, DFARS, and DCAA Experience with contract funding, project structures, WBS, and labor cost allocation Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and SUMIFS Ability to independently research and resolve billing, cost, and funding discrepancies Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent directly related experience U.S. citizenship required Must be able to successfully complete a background check Benefits & Professional Development 401(k) with company match Medical and dental coverage Disability and life insurance Tuition reimbursement Paid time off - 11 paid holidays Experience across project accounting, cost analysis, government billing, and contract compliance #J-18808-Ljbffr
