We are committed to growth and offer advancement opportunities within the organization.We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Patient-Centered Medical Home team. This role provides clinical and administrative support to providers, patients, and care team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Evening and weekend shifts are required on a rotating basis.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for exams; obtain and document vital signsUpdate medical records, including medications, allergies, pharmacy, and visit reasonPerform standing orders and assist with clinical procedures (labs, immunizations, screenings, treatments, etc.)Support providers during exams and proceduresCoordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up (including no-shows)Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and preventive healthEnsure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality standardsQualifications & SkillsStrong communication, customer service, and teamwork skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilitiesAbility to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environmentProficient in computer systems, phone communication, and documentationDemonstrates professionalism, initiative, and respect for diverse populationsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyEducation: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.Certification: Certified/Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Nursing AssistantExperience: 1-2 years experience in the medical field preferredCompensation is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer / Drug-Free Workplace.To apply please visit npcmc.com and navigate to "about us" and "careers."WE ARE CURRENTLY OFFERING A $500.00 SIGN ON BONUS #J-18808-Ljbffr Children's Medical Center
