ISO 20022 Payments Automation Tester

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with at least 3 years of applied experience
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools, including the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resiliency and security expectations; ability to advise peers on safe and effective practices
• Strong understanding of agile methods, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• Experience documenting and executing test scenarios, including writing test scripts using Business-Driven Development approaches such as Gherkin
• Ability to work with Operations, Product, and Technology groups
• Experience monitoring and reporting testing defects and managing retesting
• Ability to deputize for the Test Manager in project calls and communications
• Ability to validate and present test results for internal sign-off
• Ability to manage day-to-day work with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage critical testing tasks accurately under tight deadlines
• Preferred: Banking or financial services experience, with knowledge of payments message processing and validation formats such as ISO 20022 pacs.008, pacs.009, pacs.004, pain.001, and camt.056
• Preferred: Experience with Selenium, Python, Java, BDD Cucumber, and data engineering methodologies
• Preferred: Knowledge of JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions, using creative approaches to resolve technical challenges
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that operate in sync with relevant systems
• Use enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex work; validate results through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards, and share reusable practices with the team
• Apply SDLC toolchain capabilities, including authorized AI-assisted development and automation, to increase the value of automation
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints
• Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to support ongoing improvements to software applications and systems
• Identify patterns and underlying issues in data to improve coding practices and system architecture
