Senior Litigation Attorney – Construction

Location: Auburn Hills, MI (Onsite)

Pay: Based on Experience

About the Opportunity

A highly respected Construction & Claims Litigation firm is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation team. We are looking for an attorney with 10–15 years of experience handling active, complex, multi-party, high-stakes litigation. While construction litigation experience is preferred, attorneys with strong commercial litigation backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Develop case strategy and oversee all phases of litigation.
• Conduct depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel.
• Collaborate with attorneys on high-profile litigation matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Michigan Bar license.
• 10–15 years of complex litigation experience.
• Construction litigation experience preferred but not required.
• Strong writing, analytical, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage a sophisticated caseload.
