Senior Director, Manufacturing Strategy

Senior Director leading global manufacturing strategy across AbbVie's ME&C network. Responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize operations, drive efficiency, and align manufacturing initiatives with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global manufacturing strategies across ME&C sites supporting business objectives
- Collaborate with senior leadership, operations, quality, supply chain, and engineering on integrated plans
- Manage ME&C site selection, make-buy processes, and long-range planning for SVP of Manufacturing
- Establish performance goals, metrics, and KPIs to monitor strategic project implementation
- Partner with regional strategy directors and site heads to align initiatives and achieve network objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or Engineering; MBA preferred
- 15+ years in manufacturing operations, strategy, or related leadership roles
- Strong technical knowledge in GMP manufacturing, quality operations, CMC development, and pharmaceutical regulations
- Proven track record developing and implementing manufacturing strategies
- Demonstrated expertise in planning, project management, and cross-functional leadership in pharma
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and people management skills
- Experience in global, multi-cultural environments and conflict resolution
