Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing (503344)

Job Description
IDR is seeking a Senior Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading strategic sourcing initiatives with a focus on marketing vendor categories within a dynamic financial organization.
\nPosition Overview for the Senior Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager:

- Responsible for executing complex RFX events, including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, within the digital procurement space. \n
- Lead strategic contract negotiations and drafting to optimize vendor relationships and procurement efficiency. \n
- Manage digital-specific vendor categories, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. \n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence C-suite stakeholders to achieve sourcing objectives. \n
- Support the organization’s investment in innovative solutions by providing procurement expertise and cost-saving strategies. \n
Requirements for the Senior Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager (Marketing-focused):

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field \n
- 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain or strategic sourcing \n
- Experience executing complex RFX (RFP, RFQ, RFI) events \n
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing C-suite stakeholders \n
- Extensive experience specifically within the marketing sourcing category \n
