To provide and coordinate training and programs at the facility; to ensure that State, Federal, and facility standards are met’ and to upgrade the skills of all staff.Looking for an opportunity where you can make an impact, where you can truly make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities?We are looking for a talented Staff Development Specialist who share our dedication to provide and coordinate training and programs at the facility.**Job Responsibilities:*** Assists in planning, designing, and implementing specialized training to be used toward advance training for employees in the form of workshops, seminars, and/or coursework* Assesses, in cooperation with other staff, the training needs of staff at all levels within the facility* Prepares written reports and provides for testing of employees enrolled in courses* Ensures that required staff training opportunities are scheduled as needed/required.
