Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education certification (California credential preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree a plus
• Previous experience in special education settings or inclusive classrooms
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
• Adaptability and empathy to meet diverse student needs
• Familiarity with evidence-based instructional strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and adapt lesson plans customized to student IEP goals
• Provide direct instructional support to students in individual and small group settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum, ensuring all students succeed
• Conduct assessments to monitor progress and update IEPs as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and advocating for student success
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
