Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a Special Education Teacher, supporting students with moderate to severe needs in a dynamic school environment near Milpitas, CA. This full-time role runs from August 13, 2026, through June 8, 2027, serving an ESN caseload. Qualifications:

• Valid and active California Moderate/Severe Special Education teaching credential (required)
• Proven success as a Special Education Teacher (mod/severe) in school settings
• Confidence developing and implementing IEPs for students with significant needs
• Strong collaborative spirit and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practices

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities in alignment with IEP goals
• Adapt curriculum materials and instructional techniques to meet diverse learning needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, general education teachers, therapists, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing educational planning
• Proactively support social-emotional growth and independence for all learners
