Description As a Locum NP/PA, you will play a vital role in our staffing efforts, ensuring that healthcare facilities maintain high standards of patient care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of patients in the emergency department Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality care Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Document patient encounters accurately in medical records Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatments Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards Requirements Valid NP or PA license in the state of Colorado Associate degree in Nursing or related field for NP; Master's degree for PA Previous experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings preferred Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Schedule: 12-hour day shifts Daily Volume: 30-45 Must be comfortable with pediatric patients ages 3 months+ EMR: Practice Velocity Must be board-certified #J-18808-Ljbffr JIT Global Freight Solution P Ltd
