Registered Nurse - Critical Care Float

ICU Float/CV ICU required 1 year CV ICU experience required Floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine and COVID We need strong, independent experienced nurses to float our ICUs. If we do not have ICU needs they will be expected to float to our floors as a staff nurse. The nursing office staffs: Oncology, Neurology, Med Surg, Medicine, Trauma, Heart and Vascular and COVID. Ratio: 2:1 on ICU's for all shifts Will float to inpatient floors when needed with ratio of no more 1:3. Will float to inpatient floors if needed, float to non-critical care units if census is low in ICU, and may be asked to utilized as a patient sitter if needed. Every other weekend requirement or 6 weekend shifts per 6 week scheduled; plus holiday rotation Special Procedures/Unit Details: Floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine and COVID Does not require specific CVICU experience PREFERRED (not required) Cardiac Skill Set: Swans-hemodynamic interpretation IABP, Impella, ECMO Vasoactive drips CRRT BCLS, ACLS and NIH required Chemo, CCRN, ONS, TNCC, CPI preferred Vents, IV start, Tele, Conscious Sedation required Triage, ICP, PA lines, Level 1 Trauma Experience preferred Minimum of 2 years ICU experience. CRRT experience beneficial. Past EPIC experience strongly preferred.
