Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy (PT) license in Connecticut
• Previous experience working in educational settings preferred
• Familiarity with pediatric therapy best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and consult effectively with staff and parents

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments and interventions tailored to the individual needs of students
• Provide consultative support to teachers and staff to enhance students’ participation in school activities
• Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
• Offer guidance for adaptive equipment and strategies to foster student independence
