This person will support the social team, reporting to the Senior Social Media Manager, and will be responsible for audience and engagement growth across all owned channels to drive brand awareness and advocacy.This will include the daily management of channel operations (content planning, calendar management, caption copywriting, analytical reporting), along with executing the social strategy for brand launches, in collaboration with cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate will be at the forefront of social trends and innovation and have a strong creative eye, as well as the ability to develop channel-by-channel goals and effectively measure success. You will play a key role in driving engagement, gathering feedback, and creating strategies to grow and strengthen our community. Additional responsibilities include:6 MonthsThe contribution of concepts and ideas for always-on content and campaignsCross-channel execution with the ability to strategically plan engaging content and push innovation across channelsCollaboration and briefing cross-functional teams and external partners on opportunities to strategically feature content across owned socialLight touch ad hoc content creation for Tik Tok, Instagram Stories, and Instagram, as neededBasic social reporting that measures content performancePlatform literacy so Glossier is able to stay on top of social media trends and identify moments for the brand to tap into12 MonthsDevelopment of a social dashboard with active insights to ensure we are learning and driving resultsThe proactive building and maintenance of the brand's online community by fostering meaningful interactions, monitoring social media sentiment and trends, and responding promptly to relevant comments and feedbackCross-channel calendar management and ownership of social workstreamsThe ideal candidate is willing to work from our LA Office at least 3 days per week to support the team. While there's no single path to success, we've found that the key ingredients below set the foundation for doing your best work, thriving in the role, and ultimately making it your own (i.e. successfully bringing this formula to life).3-5 years experience working in social media management and content development within the beauty industry or related sectorsStrong communication written and verbal skills and attention to detail, particularly in regards to consumer-facing contentA customer-first mindset, with a passion for creating memorable content moments; willingness to challenge "what's expected" when it comes to the brand content landscapeUnderstanding of SEO and web traffic metricsStrong understanding of social media KPIs and social media analytical reporting platformsDemonstrated ability to work across organizational teams, building cross-functional relationships and advocating for brand outcomesPassionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideasHighly proactive, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners to make things happen with limited resourcesMust have experience with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Capcut or other video editing softwareIn accordance with the applicable law, the following represents a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum compensation range for this position:The estimated annual pay range for this role is $82,000 - $107,000.There may be future opportunities for continued pay progression based on continued strong performance in the role.Full-time positions are also eligible for a competitive compensation and benefits package that include medical health insurance, 401K, equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units, Paid Time Off, Short Term and Long Term Disability leave, and a range of other benefits.Compensation for the role will be determined based on permissible, non discriminatory factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
