This contracted, on-site position spans from September 8, 2026, through June 3, 2027, offering a consistent weekday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Your expertise will help shape the academic and social development of students in grades K-6 in a supportive, collaborative environment. You’ll guide small groups within a shared classroom, utilizing individualized approaches and Montessori principles to foster learning and independence.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience supporting elementary-aged students with diverse abilities
• Familiarity with or interest in Montessori education methods
• Strong skills in small group instruction, differentiation, and classroom management
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators and support staff
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Modify curriculum and adapt instructional strategies for small group learning
• Assess student progress and provide targeted interventions
• Collaborate with colleagues, paraprofessionals, and families
• Foster a nurturing classroom climate that encourages independence and social-emotional growth
• Maintain timely and accurate records
