HIRING IMMEDIATELY: RIPENING MANAGER IN ISLANDIA, NY Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Ripening Manager to join our team Islandia, NY. This individual will be responsible for the efficient operation of the ripening facility within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers and vendors to ensure optimal fulfillment of orders with products that meet customer standards. Pay, Schedule, and Location Ranging from $70,000 – $75,000/year Full Time | Overtime Available Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision Located in Islandia, NY Duties and Responsibilities Establish a forecasting model based on information from customer, historical demand, and business capacity Manage the continuous ripening cycle to meet demand and maintain product quality and shelf-life Conduct required inbound inspections to ensure product meets criteria prior to the ripening process Communicate with the customer and Distribution Center any anticipated changes in demand or supply Implement and maintain proper sanitation in the area Implement proper Preventive Maintenance program for rooms and equipment Track and maintain records of any customer feedback, with corrective actions as necessary Requirements and Qualifications Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce Certified on MHE Equipment (Electric Pallet Jack, Sit Down, Reach) Expertise in the ripening process, including quality control and product maturation Knowledge of Produce supply chain Strong Planning and organizational skills Must have well-developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear objectives offering support for completion through subordinates Strong computer skills required; excellent with Excel and all Microsoft automation Preferred WMS skills required Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time Sitting at a computer for long periods of time Ability to work in a Distribution Center environment with a variation of temperatures Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills Good organizational skills Knowledge of Distribution Center operations Able to adhere to strict deadlines (Salary range based on experience) Accurate Personnel provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
