WET harnesses the elements of nature – water, fire, ice, fog, and light – to evoke emotions, transcend the mundane, and captivate audiences across the globe.Injection Mold OperatorThe Injection Mold Operator is responsible for producing parts using our Arburg Plastic Injection Molding Machines. Operate 77, 275 and 750 ton machines to produce high quality parts for our proprietary devices.Responsibilities:Responsible for operating, loading and unloading material and parts, proving programs, operating controls, setting offsets, and inspection of partsRead and interpret drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished partsPerform minor maintenance, repairs and adjustments on machinesTake all needed precautions to maintain a safe working environmentDetect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine, controls to ensure quality of partsResponsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and organizedPerform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipmentUsing other process as needed such as: cutting, drilling, sanding, grinding shearing, sawing, bending, packaging, and tapping, as needed.Willingness to embrace changing requirements while encouraging others to seek innovative and swift approaches.Ability to function effectively as a team playerAbility to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime, as neededPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:2+ years experience Operating Plastics Injection Molding machineAbility to handle repetitive lifting while using proper lifting techniquesExperience in reading blueprints and adjusting machine to necessary settingsAbility to lift-up to 50+ lbs. repeatedlyAbility to work overhead, and standing up constantly throughout the dayAble to read drawings and cut parts to specification.Good verbal and written communication skills.WET is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with WET is governed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications and will not be influenced in any manner by race, color, religion, gender, national origin/ethnicity, veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, mental or physical disability or any other legally protected status.
