Fabrication Machinist- Second Shift

Conventional MachinistDo you enjoy hands-on machining work and have experience operating manual mills or lathes? This direct-hire Conventional Machinist opportunity is with a well-established aerospace manufacturer that produces critical components used in commercial aircraft, defense systems, and space applications.You'll work in a clean, team-oriented machine shop where precision and quality are essential. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of aerospace components while continuing to build your machining skills in a collaborative environment with opportunities for long-term growth.Conventional Machinist Duties:Set up and operate conventional machine tools such as manual lathes, mills, drill presses, and grinders to produce precision partsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operationsSelect tooling and secure materials or fixtures for machining operationsMeasure and inspect parts using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure quality and tolerance requirementsMonitor machine operations, make adjustments as needed, and maintain a clean and organized work areaSchedule:2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.Pay:$24.87 - $31.74.+ $2/hr. shift differentialConventional Machinist Requirements:Experience operating conventional machining equipment such as manual mills or lathesExperience working in a machine shop or manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipersHigh school diploma or equivalent required (must be a U.S. Person per ITAR regulations)Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance3 weeks of PTO401(k) with 50% match of 6%, plus an additional 3% non-matching contribution after 1 year12 paid holidays, including a full week off between Christmas and New Year'sLocation:Burbank, CA
