About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Business Unit Strategy & Integration to be a key strategic and operational partner within the Benefits & Memorials Business Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for connecting various aspects of the business, including technical delivery, financial management, growth, staffing, and client priorities. This role demands a unique blend of technical fluency and business acumen, as the VP will be expected to understand program architecture, delivery risks, and modernization roadmaps while also evaluating financial performance and organizational priorities. The VP will work closely with program executives, technical leaders, and functional partners to ensure the business unit's strategy is effectively translated into clear priorities and accountable execution. Applicants must have a minimum of ten years' experience in federal technology, program delivery, business operations, or a related field, with a strong background in IT modernization, application development, and digital services. The role requires the ability to influence senior leaders, lead cross-functional initiatives, and maintain a clear focus on business unit performance. Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs or a large federal agency is highly preferred. The VP will be instrumental in supporting the business unit's growth and market development, as well as in fostering a culture of leadership and organizational effectiveness. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree or relevant certifications being a plus. The position demands a candidate with a proven track record of problem-solving, executive writing, and presentation skills, who can work with discretion and sound judgment in managing sensitive information.
