The Lanam Group is seeking experienced business finance professionals who want to leverage their industry knowledge and relationships across a broader capital platform.

You're not tied to one balance sheet, one credit box, or one financing product. Our capabilities span working capital, C&I, SBA, asset-based lending (ABL), factoring, equipment finance, lines of credit, term loans, unsecured financing, acquisition financing, and private credit.

This role is designed for experienced finance professionals who understand businesses, recognize capital needs, and bring strong industry relationships and commercial judgment.

What You'll Do

• Build relationships with business owners, CEOs, CFOs, entrepreneurs, and other decision-makers.
\n
• Prospect, secure meetings, and originate new financing opportunities.
\n
• Understand each client's business, capital needs, timing, and objectives.
\n
• Develop referral relationships with bankers, CPAs, attorneys, advisors, investors, and other industry professionals.
\n
• Bring qualified opportunities to The Lanam Group and work with our team through execution.
\n
• Maintain an active pipeline and develop relationships that generate repeat business.
\n

The strongest opportunities often have a catalyst: an acquisition, expansion, large purchase order, equipment need, working capital constraint, delayed receivables, extended customer payment terms, refinancing, growth opportunity, or another event creating an immediate need for capital.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in commercial banking, private credit, commercial finance, underwriting, portfolio management, specialty finance, or originations.
\n
• Strong understanding of commercial credit and business financing.
\n
• Existing relationships with business owners, executives, financial professionals, or referral sources.
\n
• Ability to identify meaningful capital needs and turn them into actionable opportunities.
\n
• Confidence communicating with business owners, CEOs, and CFOs.
\n
• Comfortable prospecting, networking, and developing new relationships.
\n
• Strong commercial instincts, responsiveness, and follow-through.
\n
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build a book of business and be rewarded for production.

A traditional originations background is not required. Professionals who have spent their careers underwriting, structuring, approving, managing, or referring transactions may already have the experience and relationships to succeed in this role.

Compensation

The Lanam Group offers a competitive, production-oriented compensation structure with significant upside tied to originated and funded business.

Compensation will be based on experience, relationships, and demonstrated production history.
