Software Engineer (Java Full Stack) - Commercial & Investment Bank

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with at least 3 years of applied experience
• Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Enterprise-level programming experience with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and React.js
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database query languages
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for tasks such as coding, testing, troubleshooting, or documentation, and the ability to evaluate and refine their outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and security and resiliency expectations; ability to guide peers in safe practices
• General knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Strong understanding of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• Preferred: Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Preferred: Exposure to cloud technologies

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions, applying creative approaches to complex technical challenges
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that operate in sync with relevant systems
• Use enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity; validate results through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding practices, and share reusable approaches with the team
• Apply software development life cycle tools, including authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value of automation
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software development meets design constraints
• Analyze and visualize large, varied data sets to support continuous improvement of applications and systems
