Medical Technologist II
Provident Behavioral Health
Role Overview: Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to support physicians in diagnosing and monitoring diseases. Ensures testing accuracy by following standardized procedures, preparing samples, and analyzing results for validity and critical limits. Responsibilities Conducts laboratory tests on patient specimens. Prepares samples for analysis. Reviews test results for accuracy and acceptability. Maintains adherence to standard protocols and quality controls. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related field. Minimum of one year clinical laboratory experience. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by ASCP BOC or equivalent. Ability to follow standardized procedures and ensure test accuracy. Additional Information: This is a career ladder position requiring internal or external candidates to meet specific progression requirements.
