Starting Pay: $24.00 – $28.18 per hour* *Compensation based on experience and education Experience Pay: Up to $3.36/hr for related RBT experience Education Pay: +$0.48/hr (Bachelor’s), +$0.72/hr (Master’s) Benefits and Rewards Up to 24 PTO days/year (increases with service) Up to 64 hours of sick time Low-cost medical, dental, vision Devereux Benefits 403(b) retirement plan ASCEND Tuition Program Student loan repayment assistance Payactiv: Access your earned wages early Employee Assistance Program & Discounts Every day as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will: Direct supervision of daily routine ASD on a 1:1 basis (individuals are minimally verbal and/or non-verbal Autism population) Implement activities for daily living/activity programming Facilitate Communication (typically PECS) Programming Ensure the safety and supervision of the children Provide interventions to children with emotional support and behavioral health needs De‑escalate and mitigate behaviors Documentation/shift notes Location: Viera Campus (Viera, FL) Scheduled: Full time - 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm); must be available for full weekends. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required Requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required Experience: At least 1 year experience working with children or adolescents with behavior challenge. required Schedule: Must be able to complete a two-week (Monday - Friday) new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Orientation is held in Titusville. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Required to work Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Other Requirements: Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test, Physical, and TB Test. Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida. To learn more visit: Valid driver's license. Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Must be able to drive a car and a passenger van (which holds up to 15 passengers).
