Emergency Crisis Intervention Specialist
NACSW – North American Association of Christians in Social Work
The Harris Health System Hospital Crisis Intervention Specialist has primary responsibility for managing crisis intervention events in the emergency departments. The CIS collaborates with multiple Harris Health System departments, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe intervention techniques and improve patient and staff safety. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related social science, certification within 90 days, BLS from an AHA program, and two years of #J-18808-Ljbffr NACSW – North American Association of Christians in Social Work
