Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available | San Diego Metropolitan Area Company Description Arrowhead Electric is a Southern California–based, open-shop, merit-based electrical contractor specializing in commercial electrical construction, design-build, preconstruction, and service. We support general contractors and property owners with clear communication, disciplined planning, quality workmanship, and dependable field execution. Our primary market is San Diego County, with select projects in Orange, Riverside, and Los Angeles counties. Daily travel expectations will generally be limited to approximately 80 miles. Our Southern California operation is growing, and we are currently developing our local project pipeline. Both full-time and part-time positions may be available based on project schedules, workload, experience, and availability. Role Description Arrowhead Electric is seeking commercial electrical professionals for on-site work throughout the greater San Diego area. Responsibilities include: Installing conduit, conductors, panels, lighting, controls, and commercial power-distribution systems Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, and installation details Performing layout, underground, rough-in, equipment installation, trim, testing, and final connections Identifying electrical issues and completing safe, effective repairs Verifying that installations meet the NEC, local codes, project requirements, and Arrowhead quality standards Coordinating with foremen, project managers, general contractors, and other trades Planning work, tracking materials, and helping maintain project schedules and productivity goals Maintaining tools, equipment, materials, and clean work areas Following all company and jobsite safety requirements Contributing to a professional, accountable, and team-oriented jobsite culture Qualifications Commercial electrical construction experience appropriate to the position Working knowledge of electrical theory and commercial electrical systems Experience installing conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, fixtures, and electrical equipment Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and identify root causes safely Ability to read blueprints, one-line diagrams, schedules, and technical specifications Familiarity with the NEC, local codes, and construction safety requirements Active California DIR Electrician Certification when required for the position, or current enrollment in a California-approved electrical apprenticeship program Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assigned Southern California jobsites within the stated service area Ability to work standard construction hours and meet the physical requirements of commercial electrical work Strong communication skills, dependable attendance, and a team-first attitude Commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and continued professional development Who We Are Looking For We are building our team at every level and welcome qualified: Helpers and trainees We want people who take pride in their work, arrive prepared, hold themselves accountable, support their teammates, and want an opportunity to grow with the company.
