Elevate your career with leadership opportunities.Job DescriptionAssociate Design Director – Interiors OverviewThe Associate Design Director – Interiors will lead interior architecture projects, ensuring design excellence and operational success.Collaborate with executive leadership to grow the studio and develop innovative design solutions.Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of creativity and technical expertise.Engage in client presentations and business development efforts to strengthen relationships and expand opportunities.Oversee studio operations, resource planning, and workflow improvements for optimal efficiency.Lead multifaceted projects across hospitality, residential, mixed-use, and workplace environments.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.Promote the use of advanced BIM tools and processes to enhance design and project management.Associate Design Director – Interiors Key Responsibilities & DutiesLead interior architecture projects from concept through construction, ensuring design quality and technical accuracy.Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, and consultant coordination to meet objectives.Serve as the technical leader for interior design and architecture within the studio.Mentor and develop team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration.Partner with leadership to ensure operational success and design excellence.Build and maintain client relationships, supporting business development initiatives.Oversee studio operations, including resource planning and workflow optimization.Lead client presentations and coordinate with consultants to ensure project alignment.Associate Design Director – Interiors Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture is required.Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with 12 years preferred.Experience leading hospitality, multifamily, luxury residential, or mixed-use projects.NCIDQ certification or Registered Architect (RA) license is preferred.Proficiency in Revit and strong BIM management experience is essential.Proven ability to manage projects through all phases of design and construction.Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and client management skills.Commitment to fostering team development and promoting innovative design solutions.
