The RoleYou'll join the engineering team behind Beacon, Clearwater's front office platform used by investment banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and insurance companies. Your work sits at the intersection of financial data and production software — ingesting market data, processing trades, and building the infrastructure that gives portfolio managers and traders real-time visibility into their positions.This is not a quant role, but you'll work closely with people who speak the language of markets. You should be comfortable learning the domain.What You'll BuildMarket data ingestion pipelines, connecting to third-party vendors (Bloomberg, Refinitiv) and normalizing pricing, reference, and corporate action dataTrade ingestion systems, including high-frequency trade processing and reconciliationTime series frameworks for storing and querying financial data efficientlyETL and data pipelines that move and transform investment data reliably at scaleIntegrations with third-party financial platforms and internal Beacon framework featuresMust HavesPython proficiency, production-grade Python, not just scriptsFinance domain exposure, you've worked with financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX) in a professional context. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).
