Client Services Specialist

$23.25 per hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Client Services Specialist to join a leading regional financial services team. In this key role within our Commercial Operations division, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our valued business clients. You won't just resolve everyday inquiries—you will act as a problem solver, performing root-cause analysis to identify trends, streamline processes, and elevate the overall client experience.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Serve as the dedicated support contact for Cash Management, ACH, and Commercial Card clients via phone, live chat, and email.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose, prioritize, resolve, or escalate complex technical, system, or procedural issues.

  • Client Education: Guide and train clients on a wide variety of commercial products and digital platforms to ensure seamless adoption.

  • Continuous Improvement: Partner with operational support teams to perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues and implement permanent solutions.

  • Collaboration: Work alongside internal colleagues to resolve complex client issues and proactively advise management of any obstacles to meeting service level agreements.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years of customer service and call center experience. Experience in a banking or financial services environment is highly preferred.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to listen actively and explain complex processes clearly.

  • Technical Acumen: Proficient with computers and quick to learn proprietary software, platforms, and databases.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and trend-recognition skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgment and pay close attention to detail.

  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of multitasking independently in a fast-paced environment.
