Product lines include: Column Hardware, Degassers, Fluidic Connections, Manifolds, Pumps, Pump Components, Sensors, RI Detectors, and Valves.Desired Skills & QualificationsRegulatory KnowledgeWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.Working knowledge of sampling plans for product acceptance.Interpersonal SkillsAbility to interact and communicate effectively across diverse functions, including Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Customer Service.Technical SkillsBasic metrology techniques.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Experience using statistical software and techniques.Strong technical writing skills.Primary ResponsibilitiesInspection, Measuring, and Test EquipmentEnsure all test and measurement equipment is maintained in compliance with current calibration requirements.Ensure all training requirements related to the operation and use of test equipment remain current.Work OrdersReview and approve work orders related to product acceptance.Create Certificates of Conformance as required.Receiving InspectionEnsure acceptance activities and requirements are appropriately defined.Verify the suitability of inspection, testing, and sampling methods for incoming materials.Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)Initiate, participate in, and lead corrective and preventive action investigations as required.Production and Process ControlsReview and approve inspection work instructions.Support and maintain effective production and process control activities.Nonconforming ProductManage nonconforming product activities and documentation.Maintain quarantine areas and ensure proper identification, segregation, investigation, and disposition of nonconforming materials.Material Review Board (MRB)Lead Material Review Board activities as required.Provide investigation findings and recommendations to support product disposition decisions.Calibration Program ManagementDevelop and implement calibration procedures.Oversee the recall, calibration, and maintenance of measuring and test equipment.Regulatory ComplianceManage REACH and RoHS certification requirements.Ensure compliance with Proposition 65 regulations.Returns and Customer Quality SupportFacilitate and coordinate the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process.Statistical AnalysisApply appropriate statistical techniques to support quality objectives.Maintain an understanding of sampling plans used for product acceptance and process verification.DISCLAIMER:The information on this job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this role at the Middleboro facility of IDEX Health & Science.
