About the Role

Lew's Auto Recycling is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Salvage Specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on position that plays a critical role in our automotive recycling operation.

As a Salvage Specialist, you'll help inspect, identify, process, photograph, inventory, and prepare recycled OEM automotive parts for resale. You'll spend your days working both indoors and outdoors, staying active, solving problems, and helping ensure customers receive quality parts they can count on.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, photograph, and electronically document recycled automotive parts.
• Tag and prepare OEM parts for inventory and sale.
• Conduct quality inspections to verify parts meet company standards.
• Identify parts by manufacturer, application, and condition.
• Stock, organize, and maintain inventory throughout the yard and warehouse.
• Scan and verify inventory locations to ensure accurate records.
• Load sold parts for customer pickup and distribution.
• Receive, unpack, and process incoming freight shipments.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle audits.
• Operate a forklift and other equipment safely (training provided if needed).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow established procedures to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive knowledge or mechanical experience.
