Part-Time Registered Nurse - Occupational Health (BH-398460) Location Moreno Valley, United States | Sector Medical & Nursing | Salary $50.00 to $55.00 per hour Overview Occupational Health Registered Nurse needed for a part-time, 20-hour-per-week, long-term contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Moreno Valley, CA. This clinic offers occupational and preventative care for employees, including new hire and routine medical screenings, medical surveillance exams, and keeping employees healthy and safe at their workplace. Responsibilities Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns Ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc. Provide wellness materials and information (health promotion and disease prevention) Assist with the delivery of the medical surveillance program Provide counseling, health education, and training programs Dispense OTC medications FMLA/CFRA/PDL medical certification review and approval Perform post-offer, pre-hire physical documentation review, onsite medical testing, and medical qualification program determination up to primary clearance Manage the return-to-work program Respond to medical emergencies and administer first aid to employees What You Need to Bring to the Table Required certifications: BLS and CAOHC/COHC (hearing conservation/audiometry) Reimbursement available for hearing conservation course but must be open to completing prior to starting. Comfortable working with computers (EMR systems, Microsoft Office products, and more) Preferred certifications: NIOSH (spirometry/pulmonary function test) and COHN (Certified Occupational Health Nurse) What’s In It For You?
