Billing Coordinator Full-time Regular Trenton, NJ, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1248 Billing Coordinator will prepare billing of assigned masters and D jacket projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: Read master jackets and D-jackets to compile needed data. Prepare invoices listing charges accrued per project and department, amounts due, credit terms, and required date of payment. Enter information into computer or computes amounts due. Post transactions to Accounting records such as work sheet, ledger, or computer files. Interface with various departments to resolve billing problems. Research discrepancies and discuss findings with Account Management. Handle clerical duties, including filing and sorting. Attend Accounting and account meetings as required. Ensures a strong commitment to quality and adheres to all ISO 9001 related standards. Complies with all safety policies and reports any safety issues immediately to a manager. All other duties/ responsibilities as deemed appropriate by management Displays behavior and judgment that consistently upholds Hibbert ACT values. All other takes/duties as assigned SKILLS: Understanding of Accounting process, and solid math skills. Solid PC skills including Excel and Word. Experience on mainframe. Knowledge of New Jersey tax laws preferred, but not required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong prioritization and organizational skills. Ability to work independently toward general results. Must demonstrate working proficiency of the English language Can effectively communicate with, but not limited to, English speaking employees/other business contacts (contractors, customers, vendors, etc). Successfully comprehends business materials written in English ( job assignments, instructions, etc) QUALIFICATIONS: Education: College Preferred, High School Diploma/ GED Required. Physical Demands: Moderate lifting to 40 lbs. EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year experience in an Accounting environment.
