Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production across all manufacturing areas.
- Drive operational performance by improving throughput, reducing downtime, and optimizing labor and equipment utilization
- Lead and develop plant teams, ensuring strong communication, accountability, and adherence to company standards
- Implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, and workflow optimization
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and corporate leadership to support production planning, resource allocation, and strategic growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7–10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, ideally in steel fabrication, heavy industrial manufacturing, or a similar environment
- Proven success managing large teams and multiple production functions in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical operation
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies with a track record of measurable results
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and financial acumen, including experience with budgets, KPIs, and operational metrics
