Design Liaison EngineerPay Range: $61.22hr - $66.22hrThe Design Liaison Engineer will be responsible for supporting engineering design activities related to gas turbine hardware and other rotating machinery.This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve non-conformance issues, apply mechanical assessments, and ensure product quality and manufacturability.The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.Requirement/Must Have:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Relevant mechanical engineering experience designing gas turbine hardware or similar rotating machinery, specifically hot gas path components.Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, methods, materials, and coatings.Experience in non-conformance dispositioning using mechanical engineering assessments.Familiarity with Ansys, NX, and other analytical tools.Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional global organization.Self-motivated, open-minded, humble, and committed to continuous learning.Ability to rapidly adapt to shifting business priorities.Should Have:Gas turbine engineering experience.Manufacturing experience.Proficiency in lean manufacturing methods and statistical process control.Knowledge of HGP components, including NX and GD&T.Experience with advanced manufacturing processes.Strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with team members and partner organizations.Customer-focused mindset with a strong emphasis on quality.Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive improvement.
