CNC Programmer Houston TXWe are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer Houston TX to join our team at our Houston TX 77086 location. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating Okuma Machines and a strong understanding of CNC machining processes. The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes and delivering high-quality products to our clients.CNC Programmer Houston TX job duties:Set up and operate CNC machines, specifically Okuma Machines, to perform machining tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and threading.Load materials into machines, adjust machine settings, and monitor the production process to ensure optimal results.Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to understand specifications, tolerances, and dimensions for each machining operation.Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged tooling.Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications, making necessary adjustments to the machine settings when needed.Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions, and collaborate with maintenance personnel for more complex repairs.Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, materials used, and any issues encountered during the machining process.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to optimize production processes and address any issues that arise.CNC Programmer Houston TX Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC Okuma machining is a plus.Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, with a focus on Okuma Machines.Strong understanding of CNC programming principles, tooling, and materials.Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.Must be familiar with G code programming.Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on CNC machines.Ability to reprogram machine.Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.Prioritizes safety and follows established safety protocols.Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift throughout the workday.No felonies in the last 3 years, no violent felonies ever.Location: Houston TX 77086 Pay: $20-$30 depending on experience Shift: Monday – Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm (Occasional Saturdays 7AM – 12PM)
