Work Environment

The role is predominantly onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation facilities located across Henderson and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Travel between multiple outpatient clinic locations as needed to provide therapy sessions for patients.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' conditions and devise individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.
• Administer hands-on, evidence-based therapy targeting orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, focusing on improved mobility and pain relief.
• Implement manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately two patients per hour, ensuring dedicated and high-quality interaction without support from techs or aides.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and clinic teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Engage in a structured mentorship program led by a fellowship-trained therapist to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse range of patients dealing with orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal disorders. This involves offering recovery support for post-operative patients, athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, and individuals managing chronic pain conditions. The focus is on delivering one-on-one attention to empower patients in their rehabilitation journey, fostering both physical and emotional recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Physical Therapy license in Nevada is required.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based practices with proficiency in manual therapy and rehabilitation protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from varied backgrounds.
• Reliable transportation to facilitate travel between locations is essential.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation settings, though this is not strictly required.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) for clinical documentation and patient management.
• A demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new clinic environments and treatment protocols.

Compensation and Benefits
