This full-time, contract position runs from August through June 2027 and is centered at a single school site, allowing you to build meaningful connections with students and staff.

In this role, you'll collaborate with educators to support the learning and development of elementary and middle school students, providing classroom assistance and individualized attention where needed. Work Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours each week, in a community where every contribution matters. Compensation ranges from $20 to $22 per hour, commensurate with your experience, education, and certifications.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
• Familiarity assisting students in classroom settings (K-8 preferred)
• Ability to follow educator direction and implement classroom accommodations
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional related education or certifications are a plus
• Commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing academic and behavioral support to students under teacher guidance
• Assisting with classroom management and preparation of learning materials
• Supervising students during transitions, lunch, and recess
• Supporting students individually and in small groups with assignments and activities
