What You’ll OwnBrookhaven Market is looking for a full-time Liquor Manager to keep our liquor department running smoothly, stocked smartly, and shopped happily—right here onsite in Burr Ridge, IL. This role exists to deliver a standout selection while staying buttoned-up on alcohol laws and company standards.
Key responsibilities include managing daily department operations; maintaining inventory levels; ordering and receiving deliveries; building clean, attention-grabbing displays; running seasonal promotions; and tracking sales, margin, and shrink to hit department goals. You’ll also be the go-to for friendly, spot-on product recommendations. Required skills/qualifications:- Retail experience (liquor sales preferred); supervisory experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
- Excellent organization, communication, and leadership skills
- Able to stand/walk for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

You’ll start by checking what sold through, what’s running low, and what needs a quick tidy so the department looks sharp from the first cart to the last. Deliveries roll in, vendors have questions, and you’re keeping everything organized while the shelves stay full. Between helping shoppers pick a bottle that fits the occasion, you’ll fine-tune endcaps and seasonal features so they feel timely (and hard to walk past). As the day moves along, you’ll keep an eye on numbers and notes—what’s working, what’s not, and what to adjust for tomorrow—then wrap up with a department that’s ready for the next rush.
